Student Visa

Before applying for student visa for Australia, you must have a confirmation of enrolment (COE) or at least an offer letter from a university or school.

To study in Australia, there are a range of entry requirements you must meet.

  • You should have evidence of valid enrolment in a CRICOS registered course
  • Valid English Language requirements (There are exemptions based on the country and university)
  • Adequate health insurance
  • Meet health and character requirements
  • Be a genuine temporary entrant in accordance in the Minister’s Direction 69

You can get a student visa for maximum 5 years and in line with your enrolment. Eligible family members can accompany you to Australia.

  • Have a trade qualification relevant to an occupation on the skilled occupation list
  • You can include your family with you
  • Stay up to 18 months
  • Partner included in the application can work full time

Post Study Work Stream

  • You can work in Australia
  • You can include your family with you
  • You need a recent degree a CRICOS-registered course
  • Stay up to 2 to 4 years depending on the course
